LOVE FOR GOD!

Delightful songs of worship led by the choir filled up the temple of the Lord drawing the congregation to the presence of God as they worshiped the Lord in His magnificent presence. From the wonderful worship, Evangelist Henry Tendo Kaaya took position on the pulpit under the instruction of his father in the Lord Prophet Abraham Richard Bisaso and led the believers into the word of God titled, “Love for God” with reference from the book of 1John 2:15-17. 

The Evangelist going straight to the message noted that this generation no longer seeks what is most important- eternal life, peace, joy etal but we claim to love God. We struggle to pay for things that lead us to our destruction like clubbing, cigarettes, drugs etal forgetting that these things are perishable.

Christians have forgotten the love Christ Jesus has for us and satan has used this medium to trap us using the things we love thinking they will save us. 

We are focusing on worldly materials to the extent that we doubt that Christ Jesus knows our situation and above all that His love has no strings attached; His mercy, favor, blessings follow us but we fail to acknowledge them.

Evangelist Kaaya assured the congregation that God’s love is unconditional because He is not a gambler; when He gives you He does not take it back. He gave mankind His most precious possession-Christ Jesus free of charge therefore as a believer it is high time to let go of your bad attitude and love Christ Jesus above everything else. 

Summing up the teaching, the evangelist assured the congregation that God’s love is unconditional and He is not taking that love away even when you fall short of His glory.
