BECAUSE I AM A CHILD OF GOD

Today’s Live Sunday Service at True Vine Communion Ministries was a pure hug of God to His children who flocked in with joy and thanksgiving as others came to find a solution to their problems. Opening with an insightful message of encouragement from Evangelist James Ian; a great demonstration of God’s faithfulness to His people as his word declares was manifested as Evangelist Tendo Kaaya Henry delivered a message “BECAUSE I AM A CHILD OF GOD” from the book of 1John 3:2-3 “Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. Everyone who has his hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure” under the instruction of his father in the Lord Abraham Richard.

In continuation to the previous Sunday message “Am a Child of God” the evangelist notified the congregation that he had been sent to re-assure them of how true it is for them to be called children of God. Evangelist Kaaya noted that Jesus made it clear that the world did not understand him, therefore how then do we hope to be understood by the same world that rejected our master Jesus. Going deeper, the evangelist used an analogy of one being a president’s son. To be a president’s child is something every human would love to be because of the privileges and prestige that come along. This analogy led him to cause a moment of meditation to discover how wonderful it is to be a child of the most High God.

He went on to encourage the congregants not to be moved by what people say about them, they are being persecuted, rejected and abused because they are no longer of the world. They belong to Jesus Christ who overcame the world and delivered victory to us. He advised the believers that they belong to a special family, calling and therefore should stop trying to fit in the way of the world.

The evangelist continued to affirm to the congregation not to give up, for it is written in the book of Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” and therefore it is high time for the Children to take up their position and overcome whatever curse, rejection, failure, limitation and evil but rather walk in victory since we are children of the most High God.

The evangelist summed up the colorful day with prayer, deliverance and healing took place throughout the congregation in an explosive move of the Holy Spirit.
