UNDERSTANDING GRACE

Amidst glorious worship, the Servant of God took position at the pulpit and delivered the message of the year 2017 titled “UNDERSTANDING GRACE” with reference from the book of 2 Corinthians 12:7-9.Defining the meaning of grace for the common man to understand and be in position to use it in abundance as the Lord promised, the prophet said that Grace is that ability that lies in a man’s weakness to make them great.

Breaking it down further, he said that grace is that supernatural power that is seen in a man’s weakness and this power is wisdom and knowledge. He went on to note that today; Christians tend to forget that we operate under grace and in the end, life in serving Christ becomes hard because we have failed to acknowledge grace.  The servant of God emphasized that the moment we fail to acknowledge as Christians that we are operating by grace, the more we become victims of failure. The servant of God pointed out that it is of great wisdom to always stop and reflect where the Lord has brought you from, for this will help you to value that grace and be in position to seek it more to carry you through in this journey of salvation

Summing up the message, the servant of God alerted that where there is a weakness, grace sees an opportunity to operate for grace is the strength of the weak and unqualified.  He said that Grace comes in at your weakest point, if you are strong enough then you do not need grace.  Therefore know your weakness and Christ’s grace will rest upon you. It is of great value as a Christian to understand that you are operating under grace.
