FOCUS ON YOUR DREAM

The Servant of God amidst songs of praise and led us into the teaching of the day titled “FOCUS ON YOUR DREAM!” With reference from the book of Genesis 37, the servant of God said that when Joseph received a dream from the Lord, he never doubted that God had spoken to him and walked toward the direction of the dream. The prophet emphasized that no matter the situation Joseph passed through, he knew that he was meant to reign; even at the point where there was no reason for him to believe; he still believed. Bringing more light to the message the Servant of God broke it down to the day to day life of a Christian; He said that you have a dream that God gave you but Satan knows it and he is doing everything to stop that dream from happening.

There is dream in your life which Satan is fighting not to come in your life. As a believer anything can happen to you because the Lord is asking you a question, do you still believe what he told you? At every level Joseph reached he was tormented and tortured but the word Christ gave him was you reign; the word reign brought all that suffering to him.

Put yourself in Josephs shoe’s you will see the solution of your problem.  Even if you are downcast do not give up; that is not who you are. Your dream will come to pass, though not out of your strength.  

There are some things which are destined in your way to lead you to your glory with reference to verse 15-17. There are things you find in our way that cannot be avoided, we have to pass through them to get to glory. Citing an example of David he said that whatever he went through was meant for him because it was to purify him and make him a king and a worthy king. 

Challenges make you leave God. Joseph never gave up on God even at the point of temptation to sin; he did not give up on God nor insult Him. Joseph never doubted what he believed. Concluding the message, the prophet advised the believers to stop allowing people to dedicate on what God said. People do not know the will of God. Believe what God told you, He will accomplish what he said about you. Every situation that comes your way is meant to shape you; poverty, fights, rejection. You can only overcome them because of divine strength.
