God’s overflowing mercies remain the assurance of worship and thanksgiving that have continued to characterize every Sunday Service at True Vine Communion for All Nations. On Sunday, March 29th 2015, that intense atmosphere of worship and praise radiated the entire congregation, creating a connection between the worshipers and the host of Heaven whose presence was felt in the depth of the soul-lifting songs delivered by the choir. Every aspect of the service symbolized God. From the smiles that came out of hopeful congregants to the unhindered dance steps of those moved by the Spirit, the reality of God’s presence was written all over the church where great testimonies of His wonder-working nature never ceased to blossom like trees planted by the river side and watered by the Lord.
TESTIMONIES
A RAGING WIND CALMED DOWN: Sister Akuno Bude testifies and says, she is overwhelmed by the God of wonders. The night when the rains started, there were violent winds that threatened to leave sister Akuno without a roof. The raging winds could not be tamed. A midst that chaos a voice told her to get the picture of the Servant of God Abraham Richard and hold it up towards the heavens. Without hesitation sister Akuno did that and in a blink of an eye the wild winds were no more! She is thankful to the God of Abraham Richard because He is the same and changes not, He calmed the storm and He is still doing it.
GRADUATION AT LAST: Sister Basemera Josephine testifies to the almighty Father for being by her side during the course of her studies. While she was doing a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration at Kampala University she used to perform poorly and had no tution at the beginning of her first year until she met the Servant of God Abraham Richard and all that changed, she started performing well and tution was not a problem anymore. In her third year, Sister Josephine had five options to choose from but she did not know which right decision to make. She came before the Servant of God seeking for his guidance, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit he told her to choose finance and banking. Sister Josephine is so grateful because when she took that word from the servant of God and followed it, truly the Holy Spirit did not fail her. She emerged the best with a second class upper degree. God did not stop at that, He has enabled her to get a job with United Nations; Sister Josephine is glorifying the name of the Lord unceasingly.
GOD PERFECTS HIS WORD: Mr. Agabula Emmanuel thanks God of Abraham Richard for perfecting his word. In January he came to the servant of God seeking for his guidance about a fish project that he wanted to start. The servant of God told him, “go and start now’’ Mr. Agabula took this word and in faith he started the fish project though he did not have enough money. By the grace of God, money came and today the project is up and running. Thank you Jesus Christ for it is only you who made it possible.
Mr. Agabula further testifies that on his way to the farm, the car he was driving got a mechanical problem and he got out his mercy chain and made a prayer requesting God to help him reach his destination. After the prayer, he restarted the car and this time he was able to reach his farm and return to Kampala without visiting the garage. Glory and honor goes back to our faithful God.
From these empowering testimonies, Evangelist Rita Bisaso took position at the pulpit and led the congregation into the sermon of the day;
SEEKING TO KNOW GOD, DELIVERS YOU! (Philippians 3:7-10)
She said that if one relies on their own capabilities then they will never get fully delivered; for instance wealth, stature in society, talent or the knowledge that you attain from the world. This will hinder you from knowing your creator fully, like Paul clearly stated in verse 7 and 8, "i once thought these things were valuable, but now i consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my lord. For His sake i have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that i can gain Christ...." When Paul realized that his knowledge from the world did not save him he fully surrendered to Christ Jesus and sought to know him in his true nature.
Today i advise you to be like a baby who relies on its mother for everything the same way we should seek Jesus Christ and look up to Him for everything. Evangelist Rita continued to advise the congregants that the only way to get complete deliverance is through seeking Jesus Christ rather than seeking for a miracle. Wrapping up the days teaching she urged the congregants to take their eyes off the problem being faced and only focus on seeking to know the source of that miracle that one is looking for. Therefore let your spirit seek to know Christ Jesus that way you will never be diverted from the truth and make a relationship with Him without forgetting respect.
