Loud and clear from the holy sanctuary the believer’s
serenely worshiped the fountain of living water and the everlasting Savior
Christ Jesus. With the Holy Spirit signature on his forehead, the Prophet of
God Abraham Richard Bisaso took his stand at the pulpit and his opening remarks
were, “Remember the words of our Lord Christ Jesus, ‘I am coming soon’ how
prepared are you?”
The forces of worldly possessions; houses, jobs, money among
others are pushing many to forget that there is eternal life. Many Christians
today go to church in search of physical possessions; it is only a few who seek
for spiritual empowerment. It is by the power of the Holy Spirit that you are
still standing in Christ, for the gospel of Christ Jesus is not a bed of roses
like many Christians think; if a man can win spiritually, he is already in
heaven.
From the awakening caution, the servant of God led the believers into
the message of the day titled “Faith is
not copied!” with reference from the book of Hebrews 11:1-2, “now
faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This
is what the ancients were commended for.”
The prophet noted that our spiritual forefathers are
regarded righteous because of their unique faith; they had confidence in the
unseen. The same way it was with them, the same way it must be with us their
descendants today; we are not supposed to struggle to have faith, we should
only look at Christ Jesus and our faith will be upgraded. However, Christians of
this generation have resorted to struggling with faith by copying. Prophet
Abraham Richard Bisaso noted that the reason as to why we copy faith today is
simply because we want God to deliver us the same way He did with those we know!
Breaking down the statement “copying faith” the Prophet said that the moment we
look at other Christians and copy what they are doing in hopes that Christ will
speak to us the way He does with them, we will be misled because when these
people happen to drop faith, we will go down with them. Faith is individual and
can never be copied because God created each one of us with a unique and
special way of attracting His attention!
Clarifying this, the Seer Abraham Richard Bisaso cited examples
of individuals who acted in faith in the Holy Scriptures; Abraham, Martha,
Zaccheus, Hannah, Noah etal-none of them copied the other’s faith but God
answered them all. Faith of the Holy Spirit cannot bounce; be who you are, God
called you the way you are; look at Him and He will lead you to where you are
supposed to be. The Prophet asserted, “Do
not copy faith, look at your natural faith and it will be awakened.”
Giving
an example of copied faith, he said
that it is like borrowing a dress and you go to a party, you will keep checking
yourself time to time to see if it is still in good shape, in the same way; copying
faith causes you to take your eyes off the true source of salvation –Christ
Jesus to focus on mortal men who are bond to make mistakes, “When you copy faith, in times of challenges,
you will break so badly.”
Wrapping up this spirit awakening message, the prophet
emphasised that numbers, size and wealth do not matter with Christ-they can
never prohibit a man of faith to see God. Faith comes naturally the moment you
surrender to Jesus; you will begin to see things the way God does “If you want to see the spirit of God flow
in your life, then you should not copy faith,”
Dear believer, we hope that this message has challenged your
faith! We pray that it will help you examine and rectify your faith in Christ
Jesus, remember God’s word can never fall on ground but on someone (Isaiah
55:11) we pray that this someone will be you. Amen.
